27And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me.这事以后，耶稣出去，看见一个税吏，名叫利未，坐在税关上，就对他说：“你跟从我来。”

28And he left all, rose up, and followed him.他就撇下所有的，起来，跟从了耶稣。

29And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them.利未在自己家里为耶稣大摆筵席，有许多税吏和别人与他们一同坐席。

30But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?法利赛人和文士就向耶稣的门徒发怨言说：“你们为什么和税吏并罪人一同吃喝呢？”

31And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.耶稣对他们说：“无病的人用不着医生；有病的人才用得着。

32I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.我来本不是召义人悔改，乃是召罪人悔改。”

33And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?他们说：“约翰的门徒屡次禁食祈祷，法利赛人的门徒也是这样；惟独你的门徒又吃又喝。”

34And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?耶稣对他们说：“新郎和陪伴之人同在的时候，岂能叫陪伴之人禁食呢？

35But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.但日子将到，新郎要离开他们，那日他们就要禁食了。”

36And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old.耶稣又设一个比喻，对他们说：“没有人把新衣服撕下一块来补在旧衣服上；若是这样，就把新的撕破了，并且所撕下来的那块新的和旧的也不相称。

37And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.也没有人把新酒装在旧皮袋里；若是这样，新酒必将皮袋裂开，酒便漏出来，皮袋也就坏了。

1And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.有一个安息日，耶稣从麦地经过。他的门徒掐了麦穗，用手搓着吃。

2And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days?有几个法利赛人说：“你们为什么做安息日不可做的事呢？”

3And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him;耶稣对他们说：“经上记着大卫和跟从他的人饥饿之时所做的事，连这个你们也没有念过吗？

4How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?他怎么进了　神的殿，拿陈设饼吃，又给跟从的人吃？这饼除了祭司以外，别人都不可吃。”

5And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.又对他们说：“人子是安息日的主。”

6And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.又有一个安息日，耶稣进了会堂教训人，在那里有一个人右手枯干了。

7And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.文士和法利赛人窥探耶稣，在安息日治病不治病，要得把柄去告他。

8But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.耶稣却知道他们的意念，就对那枯干一只手的人说：“起来！站在当中。”那人就起来，站着。

9Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?耶稣对他们说：“我问你们，在安息日行善行恶，救命害命，哪样是可以的呢？”

10And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.他就周围看着他们众人，对那人说：“伸出手来！”他把手一伸，手就复了原。

14Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,这十二个人有西门（耶稣又给他起名叫彼得），还有他兄弟安得烈，又有雅各和约翰，腓力和巴多罗买，

15Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes,马太和多马，亚勒腓的儿子雅各和奋锐党的西门，

41And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?为什么看见你弟兄眼中有刺，却不想自己眼中有梁木呢？

42Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.你不见自己眼中有梁木，怎能对你弟兄说：‘容我去掉你眼中的刺’呢？你这假冒为善的人！先去掉自己眼中的梁木，然后才能看得清楚，去掉你弟兄眼中的刺。”

43For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.“因为，没有好树结坏果子，也没有坏树结好果子。

44For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.凡树木看果子，就可以认出它来。人不是从荆棘上摘无花果，也不是从蒺藜里摘葡萄。

45A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.善人从他心里所存的善就发出善来；恶人从他心里所存的恶就发出恶来；因为心里所充满的，口里就说出来。”

7Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.我也自以为不配去见你，只要你说一句话，我的仆人就必好了。

8For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.因为我在人的权下，也有兵在我以下，对这个说：‘去！’他就去；对那个说：‘来！’他就来；对我的仆人说：‘你做这事！’他就去做。”

9When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.耶稣听见这话，就希奇他，转身对跟随的众人说：“我告诉你们，这么大的信心，就是在以色列中，我也没有遇见过。”

22Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.耶稣回答说：“你们去，把所看见所听见的事告诉约翰，就是瞎子看见，瘸子行走，长大麻风的洁净，聋子听见，死人复活，穷人有福音传给他们。

23And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.凡不因我跌倒的，就有福了！”

24And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind?约翰所差来的人既走了，耶稣就对众人讲论约翰说：“你们从前出去到旷野，是要看什么呢？要看风吹动的芦苇吗？

25But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they which are gorgeously apparelled, and live delicately, are in kings' courts.你们出去，到底是要看什么？要看穿细软衣服的人吗？那穿华丽衣服、宴乐度日的人是在王宫里。

26But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.你们出去，究竟是要看什么？要看先知吗？我告诉你们，是的，他比先知大多了。

27This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.经上记着说：‘我要差遣我的使者在你前面预备道路’，所说的就是这个人。

28For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.我告诉你们，凡妇人所生的，没有一个大过约翰的；然而　神国里最小的比他还大。”

31And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?主又说：“这样，我可用什么比这世代的人呢？他们好像什么呢？

32They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept.好像孩童坐在街市上，彼此呼叫说：‘我们向你们吹笛，你们不跳舞；我们向你们举哀，你们不啼哭。’

33For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil.施洗的约翰来，不吃饼，不喝酒，你们说他是被鬼附着的。

34The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!人子来，也吃也喝，你们说他是贪食好酒的人，是税吏和罪人的朋友。
